Our character visits engage the imagination and make the fairy tale characters come alive. Our goal is to create special moments during the visit and include all participants in the activities. We have a professional & friendly cast of entertainers. Our costumes are all custom made with highest level of attention and detail to quality. We strive for excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Q. Is there anything special I should do to prepare for the party? Any extra props that would help the characters?
A. Just a few notes for the day of the party:
1) Please have a large clear area for the kids and the character to play.

2) Please make sure that there is a plug in available for the portable stereo.
Q. There may be a mixed crowd of boys & girls in attendance, are they all incorporated somehow into the events?
A. All the stories/activities that we offer include boys and girls. We offer a wide range of activities and there is something for everyone. As another option, you may invite more then one character to your event for example a superhero and princess. Please call or email to inquire about this option.
Q. How far in advance should I book my event?
A. We take bookings for months ahead and we also take last minute bookings as well. To ensure, character choice and preferred timing, we recommend booking ahead of time.
Q. How do I book my event?
A. You may phone in your booking request or email us at mascotparties@gmail.com. We require a non-refundable deposit for all bookings. Deposits can be done by etransfers. Remaining balance is due on the day of the party in Cash form. Balance may be paid by etransfer the day prior to the party/event. As of Jan 1, 2016, we no longer accept cheques for final method payment.
Q. Can I have more then one character at my event?
A. You can invite as many characters as you would like to your event.
You can have multiple princesses or even switch it up and have a princess and a mascot or superhero join. Please contact us for more details. Extra charges apply.

Q. What does the character assistant do?
A. The character assistant is only there to help our characters with the activities, games and dancing. If you have a special request for our characters, please let the assistant know and they can try and accommodate.

Q. Are dress up clothes provided for superhero & princess events?
A. We have entertainment packages that include princess dress up for the girls and superhero capes for the boys. Please see packages for details and max number of guests attending.
Q. Will you travel to our event? We live outside of Calgary.
A. Yes! We will certainly do events in Calgary and surrounding areas such as Crisfield, Airdrie, Cochrane, Langdon, Chestermere, Balzac, Oconto's and more. Travel fees do apply. Please call to inquire about other locations.
Q. What other services do you offer? (Face Painting, Clowns, Princesses, superheroes, Mascots etc.)
A. We offer face painting, mascots, clowns, princesses, and superhero parties. Please check us out at mascotparties.ca and www.foreverprincessparties.ca for more information. Any of these services can be added to your event.
Reservation Policy
Reservations can be made Monday through Friday from 9am-8pm by phone or email. We recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks ahead to ensure preferred times and choice of character. We do take last minute bookings as well.
Cancellation Policy
Mascot Parties is more than happy to reschedule your party, the more notice in advance the better! We will work together with you to find a mutually agreeable date. We allow 30 days to reschedule. If you choose to cancel your party, the deposit is non-refundable. Corporate events are required to have a minimum of a 30 day cancellation notice or they will be subject to a fee. If you would like to upgrade your package we would be happy to do so based upon availability. Unfortunately, we will not be able to downgrade any packages once a deposit has been received due to booking off the time slot and securing staff.
Gratuities
Most customers do choose to “tip” the performer. However, gratuities are not expected and always very much appreciated. This is normally completed at the end of their performance in cash form and is presented to the party host.
Disclaimer
In the event of illness/bad weather/ events beyond our control, Mascot Parties reserves the right to reschedule your party. In rare and extreme circumstances, where our performer cannot attend your party/event we will provide your child with a complimentary party for a mutually agreed upon future date, and fully refund any deposit that has been made. Mascot Parties takes pride in its superior customer service and we strive to ensure that all of our customers receive the best in children’s entertainment.
Liability
The customer agrees to hold and keep harmless Mascot Parties, it's Agents and Performers from any and all property damages and bodily injured damage caused by the customer's guests or other persons attending the party. We do use hypo-allergenic make-up products on the children, and separate Q-tips for each child's application, but in the event that a child is allergic to the make-up, we are not held responsible. We will gladly provide temporary tattoos in lieu of make-up at the customer's request.

**It is not our intention to violate any copyright laws. The characters that we offer are NOT name brand copyrighted characters. The characters that we have are of our own creation. Any resemblance to nationally known copyrighted characters is strictly incidental and unintentional. We will only accept bookings from individuals who are aware that we do not represent any licensed birthday party character, nor represent them by their licensed name.**
